Here at Random Adventure we do things a little bit differently, we didn’t follow the rule book, in fact we still don’t know if such a thing exists. For a start we don’t do any one discipline, we ride bikes, we enjoy the road, off road, gravel, long distances, short spins, solo efforts, drinks with friends and so on. We also love music and as such we also put on music gigs as promoters too.
We split our events into a few categories, for an up to date calendar of all our events including any last minute social events, please follow our Facebook event’s page.
Social rides, these are free to ride, even though they cost ourselves time, we enjoy just going out for a day/overnight trip and enjoying ourselves, when these happen we request if anyone enjoyed themselves, they buy us a Ko-Fi (see button at the foot of this page)
Talks, we love a great adventure and story, we’ve hosted many cyclist from Hans Rey to Graeme Obree to Rich and Tom Seipp, to Charlie Kelly, Lee Cragie, Jenny Graham, Emily Chappell, Ed Pratt and many many more.
Hell of the North West
“This is possibly the scariest thing I’ve ever made” Dan, 2019. When I set out to make Hell of the North West I told Phil about an early season ultra Audax style event, we expected a handful of riders to apply to ride, it sold out without any formal advertising, the concept was to create an ultra hilly self supported event that flows well, doesn’t go around the houses (too much) and pushes the riders to the limit in terms of unrelenting climbing with rewarding descents.
